DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE, DEXTROMETHORPHAN, AND PSEUDOEPHEDRINE (e.g., C-Phed DPD Tannate, TanaCof-DM, Tanafed DMX, Tannate DMP-DEX) are used together to decrease symptoms caused by colds, allergies, or sinus problems. Dexchlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that relieves runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. Dextromethorphan helps to stop cough. Pseudoephedrine helps reduce nasal and sinus congestion. This product is not intended for treating a chronic cough that is due to smoking, asthma, emphysema, or problems that cause a large amount of phlegm.
